WHAT: Allies Gathering for Mining Resistance

WHY: Every year, the Mining Injustice conference offers an important space for allies to come together and strategize around how best to combat mining injustices. This year – in the absence of a conference – we are planning a gathering so that activists and allies in this field can meet and coordinate actions together. The gathering is intended to bring allies together to plan and coordinate strategies for resistance to mining, and to have a space where we can share ideas, share food and music, and refresh ourselves in each other’s company. Politics and pleasure! The location and exact time are still to be determined, but save the date and further details are to follow.
